In addition to helping another group of youth and adults get trained in the success principles in order to continue to build capacity to support the Pathways to Success for Youth vision, we've decided that the next important step toward our Pathways to Success for Youth vision is to create an evergreen, teen friendly video series that will be used in classrooms, teacher trainings and online along with written modules and experiential activities of the curriculum that is currently being developed.

It's all mapped out, the kids are ready for the camera and the production team is ready to roll!

Ultimately, the Pathways to Success for Youth curriculum will be a reproducible product that can be easily distributed nationwide in the form of professional development for teachers, administrators and youth service workers as well as transformational classes, retreats and workshops in school and community classrooms in both live and online settings.

This work has the potential to provide powerful solutions to some of the major issues in our schools and in our youth; addressing school culture and bullying, promoting academic engagement, and addressing common issues that cost our society and economy money. Specifically, increasing connection while promoting a work ready youth workforce and reducing substance use and abuse, teen pregnancy, depression and anxiety. In addition, this work serves as the foundation of a movement towards heart centered education, while promoting positive self esteem and taking 100% responsibility for life choices while  teaching the principles of success, entrepreneurship and leadership that will provide young people to tools to create a passionate, happy and successful life, however they define it.

The experts tell me this phase of the project will cost about $100,000 to do it right. I used to think raising this kind of money was impossible. Now I look at it this way ...

  • if 1,000 people contribute $100, we would reach our goal!
  • or 100 people contributed $1000, we would reach our goal!
  • or 10,000 contributed $10, we would reach our goal!
  • Every single $1 helps!

After the video series is created, the project will be ready to expand it's reach and begin moving to schools across the country. We are already getting requests and continue to build the capacity of our training team.

There are many ways to get where we are going. That's why we are also pursuing grants, private donations, sponsorships, collaborative partnerships and fundraising events to continue to build momentum as we move forward to make our vision a reality!

Your contributions are tax deductible as we are connected to the
White Mountain Center for Creative Development, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
